About Dom Mckenzie

Based in Chichester, UK, Dom McKenzie is an award winning illustrator with 15 years experience working for prominent editorial, commercial and publishing clients worldwide.

Dom’s hybrid approach of traditional and digital illustrations combine conceptual visual wit with his love of mid-century design, British comedy and Tintin. Outside his studio he leads talks about and teaches illustration including in China where he wrote and delivered a course preparing students for study in British art schools.

Alongside his studio based work he travels the globe live scribing for blue chip corporate clients and has exhibited his work on 3 continents. Outside illustration he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family exploring the English South downs beside his home. He is an average parkrunner, running with his son in a buggy and an enthusiastic but poor, tennis player.

Selected Clients: The New York Times, The Guardian, BBC, WIRED, The Financial Times, TED, The Observer, easyJet and Cancer Research UK.
